Kennewick holding open houses on public-private project that aims to bring a 2000-seat theater, convention center expansion, and more
The City will hold two public events (Sept 30 and Oct 17). Staff will share the vision for the projects, its potential benefits, impacts on the community, and financing required.
The City says it believes the project will "spur significant economic development in the heart of our Tri-Cities community."

Artist Laura Truitt on her exhibit: “The underlying conflict in my work is generated by climate change, land abuse and over consumption of all kinds, my own included.” CBC will have the work on display from Sept 16 to Oct 10, with artist lecture Oct 3.
